Griffith Observatory

On the fifth day,   we took the Metro bus to Griffith Park. From there,  we hiked up to the Griffith Observatory.

Before we began the hike, we headed to the only eatery in the park - TRAILS

and ordered our  packed lunch

After hiking for an hour, we caught a glimpse of the observatory.

               

Upon reaching the top, we had a look down  at LA.

We took pictures of the buildings in the surroundings.

The James Dean corner was erected to honour him as he was the first actor to do filming at Griffith.  From this corner, we took a snap of the iconic HOLLYWOOD sign , up on the hills.
