Giant Sequoias and Yosemite Valley tour

As we were not driving, we decided to book online a VIATOR tour , the Yosemite National Park and Giant Sequoias .

On our 7th day, the tour bus picked us up from our hotel at 6am.
Our first destination was to see the Giant Sequoias.

President Lincoln signed the bill that set aside the Mariposa Grove, along with scenic Yosemite Valley in 1864

Giant sequoias dwarf even the largest pine and fir trees that live among them.  They are descendants of an ancient line of trees and can live for over two thousand years.  Their trunks can reach over 25 feet thick!

Then we headed to the Yosemite Valley.
