Flight to LA from KUL

On May12th 2013, I started my north America tour with my youngest daughter.
We took the 10.30am flight from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) to Los Angeles International Airport(LAX)
Our flight took us 6 hours to arrive at Narita Airport(NAA).  The Malaysia Airlines (MAS) plane made a stop here for an hour and 30 minutes.  By the time, we cleared immigration, we headed to Gate 88 with 40 minutes to spare.
So we went window

shopping at the duty free shops.
From Narita, our flight was another 10 hours before we touched down at LAX.
After clearing immigration, we took the Flyaway shuttle bus to Union Station, costing USD7 per person.  One can also take Premium shared van ride, costing USD15 per person and the van driver will sent you right up to your hotel.  At Union station, we took the Metro Red Line to get to Hollywood Boulevard.
There was a Metro staff who showed us as to how to get a TAP card and how to use it to get round LA. Each trip on the metro costs USD1.50
